Refund Policy

CodeFizz Editor Agent is downloadable software. The moment you pay, you get a personal download link, a license key, and access to the plugin. Once that has been delivered to your inbox there is no way to take it back. This is also why most digital stores handle subscriptions and digital goods the same way.

Open your Polar customer portal, click your active subscription, and hit Cancel. You will keep using the plugin and receiving updates through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. There is no back and forth over email required.

Once you have paid for twelve months, the version you have at that point is permanently yours. Cancel any time after that and it keeps working on your machines, with nothing further to pay. Annual plans get there with their first payment, since they cover a year up front.

Before twelve months, your access runs alongside the subscription, so it pauses when the subscription does and picks straight back up if you resubscribe. Nothing is lost in the meantime, and the months you already paid still count toward the permanent license.

Either way, cancelling stops new releases and access to the private Discord, the roadmap, and any tier-specific perks. Anyone who subscribed before 5 August 2026 keeps their original terms, where the build you have keeps working no matter how long you subscribed.

Lifetime Pro is bought once and never renews, so there is no subscription to cancel and no billing period to run out. That also means the "cancel and keep what you paid for" route above does not apply to it.

If you have not yet downloaded the plugin or activated your license, email me within fourteen days of purchase and I will refund it in full, wherever you live. Once the plugin has been downloaded it is delivered software and the same no-refunds rule applies as everywhere else on this page, with the two exceptions below: a genuine bug, and any consumer right your country gives you that overrides this.

A refund on a Lifetime purchase ends the licence. Your key stops receiving updates and loses access to the private Discord, the same as any other refunded order.

If you bought the plugin and it does not work for you because of a real bug or a feature you could reasonably have expected to be there, email me. I am one person and I read every email. We will figure it out together, and that includes a refund when it is the right call. I would rather have one fewer sale than one frustrated customer.

EU consumer law gives a fourteen day right of withdrawal on most online purchases. That right does not apply to digital products once you have started using them, which is the standard rule across the EU for software downloads. If you live in an EU country and you have not yet downloaded the plugin or activated your license key, you can request a full refund inside that fourteen day window by emailing me. Other countries have similar rules. If yours does and you think this policy is treating you unfairly, get in touch and we will sort it out.

Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. as the Merchant of Record. Polar collects and remits taxes on your behalf and issues your invoice. Polar has its own buyer terms which apply on top of this policy. If a dispute ever needs to involve the payment processor directly, Polar is the entity to contact.
